BELOVED
MINISTER CELEBRATES U.S. CITIZENSHIP WITH IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY
AND FAMOUS ROCK STAR
Bishop
Dr. Arnold Cabalquinto, the Senior Founding Pastor of Christ
Our Banner (COB), celebrated his recent U.S. Citizenship earlier
this July. Cabalquinto is a beloved minister, Doctor
in Divinity, an Apostolic Messianic End-time preacher with
a burning passion for unity. His congregation Christ
Our Banner (COB) has churches in several major U.S. cities
including Los Angeles, CA and Jamaica, NY. In addition,
it has churches all over the world in Israel, India, Philippines,
and Australia. COB is a full-gospel, evangelical church
anchored on the four pillars of Christian growth.
With the help of immigration attorney Philip Abramowitz of
ASK Law Group (Abramowitz, Stefanski, Korenberg) in Sherman
Oaks, CA, Mr. Cabalquinto received his permanent residence
in 1999 as a religious worker in just a matter of months.
He subsequently sought U.S. Citizenship after five years residency
because he felt a strong bond to the U.S. after serving here
and wished to become and American to fulfill his dream.
When he received his U.S. Citizenship last week, he immediately
visited Mr. Abramowitz to thank him again for all his help.
This time, Mr. Cabalquinto brought his close friend Mike Hanopol
and fellow church member, the Philippine rock icon turned
born-again Christian, to celebrate with Mr. Abramowitz.
“It was an honor to meet Bishop Cabalquinto's
attorney, but Mr. Abramowitz said the honor was truly his
to spend time with a legend. I promised to invite his firm
to my next concert.," said Mr. Hanopol.
Mike Hanopol,
the bassist of the 1970s Philippine rock band Juan de La Cruz,
is an avid member of COB. While his hit songs from the
1970s contained lyrics with sexual innuendoes, Hanopol now
writes songs that are based on the Bible.
“I
am delighted that I was able to help Bishop Cabalquinto receive
his U.S. Citizenship. He is one of the kindest and most
charismatic people that I know. I wish him the best
of luck in his future and the future of his church,"
said Mr. Abramowitz, Mr. Cabalquinto's attorney.
